The a cappella vocals are excellent, but perhaps the best part is their meticulous set-up for the video. The five friends used the varying pitches of their voices to harmonize and mimic the piano and strings used in Djawadi's theme for the show. The Warp Zone – a YouTube channel self-described as a "nerdy sketch comedy, gaming, and music video channel brought to you by five lifelong friends Davis, Schroeder, Ryan, Fish, and Odom" – sang a version of Westworld's ridiculously catchy instrumental theme. ![]() An a cappella version of the Westworld's intro theme is making the rounds on the internet, and it's amazing. Now, one of Djawadi's own original creations is getting a cover. ![]() The score elevated a few of the already-epic and most memorable Season 1 moments – "Paint It Black" playing over Hector's introduction/shoot-out was a stroke of sheer genius. Ramin Djawadi (who also composes Game of Thrones' music) scored the show, creating a number of gorgeous instrumental covers of existing popular songs for it. As anyone who aggressively devoured the first season of HBO's new hit series Westworld is well aware, the show's score is one of its crowning glories. ![]()
